License and activations
A paid Keyglass license grants one purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Keyglass personally or professionally. The license may be active on up to two Macs at a time. Deactivating a Mac releases that device slot for another Mac; it does not transfer ownership of the license.
The purchase permanently licenses the major version you bought. A Keyglass V1 license therefore remains valid for V1 and includes every V1.x update released for it. You may keep a reasonable backup copy. The software, brand, and documentation remain the publisher’s intellectual property.
Trial and restricted mode
The full trial lasts 3 days, starts only when you explicitly choose Start Trial, and requires no payment card. There is no permanent free tier.
When a trial or license is no longer valid, Keyglass enters restricted mode. Existing data remains readable, revealable, securely copyable, exportable after authentication, and deletable. Disabling iCloud sync and keyglass get also remain available. Creating or editing data, importing, enabling sync, and process injection with keyglass run are disabled.
Purchase, payment, and refunds
The product page and Polar checkout show the current price, currency, applicable taxes, and final total before payment. Checkout and order records are handled by Polar. The Keyglass license is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Keyglass offers a voluntary 30-day satisfaction refund window from the purchase date in addition to mandatory consumer rights. Send a request to [email protected] and include the purchase email or Polar order reference, but never include your license key.
EU withdrawal rights
Consumers in the European Union may have a statutory withdrawal right for distance purchases. For digital software supplied immediately, checkout may ask for your express consent to begin delivery and your acknowledgement that the statutory withdrawal right can be lost once downloading or other performance begins.
Any consent collected at checkout does not remove the separate voluntary 30-day Keyglass refund window. Mandatory consumer protections in your country always prevail over these terms.
Updates and compatibility
Keyglass verifies update signatures before installation. A future major version may be offered as a paid upgrade, but declining it does not end the license for the major version you already purchased. The license does not promise updates for every future major version.
The current release requires macOS 26. Hardware, operating-system, shell, and security requirements may evolve for later updates when needed to keep the software secure and compatible. Material requirements are shown before download.
Support and responsible use
Support is provided in English and French on a commercially reasonable basis. No response-time or uptime guarantee is created unless separately agreed in writing. Never send secret values, license keys, .env exports, or Keychain dumps to support.
Do not bypass activation limits, distribute license keys, reverse engineer the software except where law expressly permits it, or use Keyglass to violate law or another person’s rights. You are responsible for the commands and environments you run with the CLI.
Warranty and liability
Keyglass is provided with the warranties and legal guarantee of conformity that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
Keyglass is not a cloud backup or recovery service. You remain responsible for your Mac, Apple Account, access controls, and appropriate backups.
Termination and governing law
You may stop using Keyglass at any time. The publisher may terminate a license for a material breach after reasonable notice where required. Your ability to export and delete existing records remains available in restricted mode.
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections or competent courts in your country of residence.
